The Let's Learn Science series addresses learning goals
in the following general areas:

• Science as inquiry: students should learn how to observe, question, predict, and test hypothesis;
• Communication: students should learn how to communicate the results of their thinking and inquires;
• Scientific tools: students should learn how to use scientific equipment to further explore the world around them;
• Areas of scientific inquiry: students should have experiences with life sciences, physical sciences, and earth and space sciences;
• Applied Science: students should be able to apply what they learn about science in their everyday lives.
