Joseph Kawuzi has been Opportunity Education's representative in Uganda since February, 2007. A Ugandan national, he graduated from Kyambogo University with a diploma in electrical and electronic engineering. He also trained in industrial control systems and Information Technology in Uganda and in pedagogy in Germany.

Following his studies, Joseph worked in Uganda in the electricity distribution industry and for a leading internet service provider.

"I enjoy making demonstrations to teachers and students on how to run the Opportunity Education program in their schools. I believe this program is going to transform the lives of the young ones whose educational opportunities were stretched thin."
